West Union South Carolina
West Union is a town located in Oconee County in Upstate South Carolina. It is not close to the town of Union, which is also in South Carolina. The population was 297 at the 2000 census and in 2007 the population was 301. West union covers 0.77 square miles.

I have enjoyed many Saturday afternoons in the beautiful South Carolina fall weather watching the Tigers battle other great teams from both the SEC and the ACC. Tailgating at Clemson is a wonderful experience, with friendly people and great food everywhere.
West Union's closest airport is the Oconee County Regional airport, which is 13 miles away. But the closest big airport is in Greenville. It is Greenville Spartanburg International, but depending on ticket prices, you may be better off to drive to Atlanta.
