Centerville is located in Anderson County, South Carolina in Upstate SC. The population was 5,181 at the 2000 census. It is unincorporated and just outside of the city limits of Anderson for lower taxes but you can be almost anywhere within the city of Anderson in minutes. It has a really nice elementary school and a brand new volunteer fire department. I lived there for several years and really liked it. Quiet, peaceful and close to everything with lower taxes.
