1. The first kind of real estate buyer in South Carolina is the type you are hoping for when selling your home! This home buyer is in a hurry to move. They have a sense of urgency or want to make a quick decision.


2.The second kind of home buyer in South Carolina is not in a hurry. They have no urgency to buy, but they are serious buyers. They are cautious and may take their time in making a decision but should still be taken seriously.


3. The third kind of South Carolina home buyer is looking for a real bargain and they are looking for a desperate seller! Expect Lowball Offers! Some potential home buyers will make offers based upon some crazy idea that all sellers are desperate and must sell. Or they are savvy investors that are wanting to add another property to their real estate portfolio, but only if the numbers work for them.


4. The fourth kind of home buyer in South Carolina will never buy! I am not even sure we should call them a home buyer since they can't afford to buy, aren't qualified or don't want to buy. Looky-Loos & Worse! Some people like to just see what you have in your home that they might want to steal! By insisting on dealing with only qualified buyers, I eliminate many of these tire kickers and time wasters. In my experience, most of the people that visit open houses are in this category of home buyers!


Today there are serious buyers looking for a home in Upstate South Carolina.  86% of all homes are in the hands of real estate firms like mine. Where do most serious qualified buyers go? Sure, almost  everyone starts their search for real estate in South Carolina on the Internet, but once the potential buyer gets serious, they start working with a REALTOR like me!
